I found the film. Less than 3 minutes! nicely shot, though much too long on the senior detective writing on a piece of paper; the over the shoulder shot is effective; good transitions ie the dissolves; I liked the effect of very old cinema with the flashing; although it pays homage to some of the conventions e.g. blinds, hat on detective and the voice-over narration, there is virtually no link to narrative of Film Noir. There is little evidence of material shot appropriate to the task set or of meaning being apparent to the viewer. It has the appearance of being unfinished and incomplete.
